A look back at some of our Wonder Seekers Sessions...

Frequently asked questions

How do I book?

Bookings can be made online through our website. Simply choose the session you'd like to attend, complete your booking and we'll send you a confirmation email with everything you need to know before your visit.

What ages are your sessions suitable for?

Our mixed-age sessions are designed for children aged approximately 10 months –5 years, while our Baby Only sessions are specially designed for babies aged 6–13 months.

If you're bringing both a baby and an older sibling, we recommend booking into one of our mixed-age sessions. Our Baby Only sessions are designed specifically for babies under 13 months, with activities planned for that stage of development.

If you're ever unsure which session is the best fit, we'd love to help—just get in touch.

What happens at a Wonder Seekers session?

Each session features a variety of thoughtfully designed sensory play invitations inspired by nature, and the theme of the week.

Children are free to move between activities at their own pace. There's no right or wrong way to play—our sessions are all about exploring, creating and discovering together, in a safe and respectful way.

How much do sessions cost?
  • Casual Session (6mths- 11mths) – $26.50
  • Casual Session (12mths - 5yrs) – $26.50
  • Sibling – $10

You can also purchase 4 session passes with a 10% discount

  • 4 Session Pass – $95
  • 7 Session Pass – $160

All bookings must be made online prior to attending.

Do you offer multi-session passes & sibling discounts?

Yes! We offer 4 Session Passes ($95) and 7 Session Passes ($160) for families who love joining us regularly. Session passes can be used across our weekly sensory play sessions and are booked online, subject to availability.

We also offer discounted sibling tickets for just $10, making it even easier for brothers and sisters to join in the fun together.

Can siblings attend?

Absolutely! Siblings of all ages are welcome to join us.

Discounted sibling tickets are available when booking. Simply purchase a sibling ticket and include each child's details on the booking form so we know who's joining us and can prepare accordingly.

Older siblings are especially welcome during school holidays, but they're more than welcome to attend our weekly sessions too. They often tell Mum they're "too old" for sensory play... and then end up joining in anyway! 🤭

Children under 6 months attending with an older sibling are welcome to come along free of charge. Once they reach 6 months, they'll need to purchase a ticket of their own!

What should we bring?

Just a few simple things to help you enjoy your session:

  • A hat and sunscreen
  • A water bottle
  • Clothes you don't mind getting a little messy
  • A spare change of clothes (especially for water play!)
  • A towel if water activities are planned
  • Morning tea or a snack if you'd like to stay and play at the park afterwards

As our sessions are held outdoors, we recommend checking the weather beforehand and dressing for the conditions. Whether it's gumboots after a little rain or a sunhat on a warm day, being prepared means everyone can enjoy the adventure.

Can grandparents or another carer bring my child?

Absolutely! Grandparents, carers and other trusted adults are more than welcome to attend with your child

What should my child wear?

Please dress your child in comfortable clothes that you're happy for them to get messy.

While we choose washable materials wherever possible, some natural or highly pigmented materials may stain clothing.

What if my child doesn't want to join in?

That's completely okay.

Some children jump straight into play, while others prefer to watch before joining in. Every child explores differently, and there's never any pressure to participate in every activity.

We simply create the space—the children decide how they'd like to explore it.

Are your materials taste-safe?

We use a variety of sensory materials throughout our sessions, with many made from natural or taste-safe ingredients. However, some activities may include materials that are not taste-safe (such as paint or other craft materials) and are not intended for consumption.

All children must be supervised by their parent or caregiver throughout the session to ensure activities are used safely.

If you're attending with a child under 12 months, or your child still explores by putting things in their mouth, please let us know before your session. We'll do our best to adapt activities where possible, although this may not always be possible for every station.

Do you cater for allergies or additional needs?

Please let us know before your session if your child has any allergies, medical conditions or additional support needs.

While we take every reasonable precaution, Wonder Seekers cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

What happens if we can't make it?

Bookings are non-refundable.

If you let us know at least 24 hours before your session, we'll happily transfer your booking to another available session (subject to availability).

Unfortunately, bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without notice cannot be transferred or refunded.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Wonder Seekers is an outdoor experience, so the weather is always something we keep a close eye on. Unfortunately, we can't control the weather (if only we could! ☀️🌧️), so we make the best decision we can using the most up-to-date forecasts and conditions available at the time.

If conditions are unsafe due to heavy rain, storms, strong winds or extreme heat, we'll either relocate the session (where possible) or offer a transfer, credit or refund if a suitable alternative isn't available. You'll always be notified as early as possible by email and social media.

Once a session has begun, it will generally continue as planned unless conditions become unsafe. Please come prepared for all types of weather—a little drizzle is all part of the adventure!

Where are your sessions held?

Most of our weekly sessions are held at Frederick Annand Park, Chermside West, with an indoor backup venue available if needed.

From time to time, we also pop up at other locations for special events, workshops or seasonal sessions, so please double-check the venue listed on your booking confirmation.

Your confirmation email will include the exact meeting location, along with any other important information you'll need before your session.

Can I take photos during the session?

Of course! We love seeing your little ones enjoying themselves.

You're welcome to take photos and videos of your own child during the session. We simply ask that you respect the privacy of other families and avoid sharing identifiable images of other children without their permission.

Feel free to tag @wonderseekerssensoryplay if you share your photos—we absolutely love seeing your little ones making memories. 💛 As Wonder Seekers is a faceless brand, seeing your children enjoying our sessions helps us share the magic with other families.

Wonder Seekers may also capture photographs for marketing purposes in accordance with the media consent provided during booking.

What if we arrive late?

Life with little ones doesn't always go to plan—we completely understand!

You're welcome to join us whenever you arrive, and we'll help you settle in so you can make the most of the remainder of the session.

Our sessions run for 60 minutes, so while we can usually allow a few minutes' grace at the end, we'll still finish at the scheduled time so we can pack down and prepare for the rest of the day.
