Frequently asked questions

How do I book?

Booking your Wonder Seekers party is easy!

Simply get in touch to check your preferred date and chat about your celebration. Once you're ready to book, we'll send you a party booking form to complete.

A $50 non-refundable booking fee is then required to secure your date in our calendar. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your party.

In the lead-up to your celebration, we'll be in touch with everything you need, including your online guest waivers, and we'll confirm all the final details to ensure your party runs smoothly.
What ages are your parties suitable for?

Our birthday parties are most popular for 1st–5th birthdays, however our sensory play experiences are designed to be enjoyed by everyone. From babies exploring their first textures to older siblings (and even adults!) joining in, there's something for every age to enjoy.
How many children are included?

Our packages include:

  • Small – Up to 10 children
  • Medium – Up to 15 children
  • Deluxe – Up to 25 children

Additional guests can be added for $15 per child.
Where do you travel?

We're based in North Brisbane and travel throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.

Travel within our local area is included. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside this area.
Can you set up indoors or outdoors?

Our sensory play parties are designed with the outdoors in mind! Parks and backyards are our favourite places to create beautiful play experiences.

If you're planning an indoor party, please check with us first to make sure your space is suitable. Unfortunately, we can't set up on carpeted floors due to the messy nature of sensory play.

For outdoor parties, we simply ask for a reasonably level space and a wet weather backup plan, just in case.
What if it rains?

As Queensland weather can be unpredictable, all outdoor parties must have a wet weather backup option. This could be a gazebo, undercover area, carport or another sheltered space.

Having a backup plan means we can still create a beautiful sensory play experience if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Do you stay during the party?

Absolutely! Every Wonder Seekers party is a fully hosted experience—we don't offer DIY party hire.

We'll take care of the setup and pack down, facilitate the sensory play experience, encourage children to explore the stations and keep everything topped up and looking beautiful throughout the party.

Please note: While we'll be interacting with the children and supporting their play, active parental supervision is required at all times. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for the care and supervision of their children throughout the event.
Can you match my party theme?

Absolutely! One of our favourite things is bringing children's favourite themes to life through sensory play.

Whether your little one loves dinosaurs, fairies, construction, flowers or something completely unique, we'll create a beautiful sensory experience inspired by your chosen theme.

Please keep in mind that every setup is designed with the signature Wonder Seekers style in mind. Rather than creating exact replicas, we take inspiration from your theme and interpret it in our own nature-inspired, thoughtfully styled way.

Is everything messy?

Our parties are designed to be messy in the best kind of way!

We use a variety of sensory materials and always aim to create engaging experiences while keeping things manageable for families and venues.
Are your materials taste-safe?

Some activities may contain taste-safe ingredients, while others are designed for older children and are not intended for consumption.

Children should always be supervised by their parent or caregiver throughout the party.

If you have children under 12 months attending, please let us know beforehand so we can adapt activities where possible.
Do you cater for allergies?

Please let us know about any allergies or medical conditions before your party.

While we do our very best to accommodate dietary and sensory requirements where possible, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
