Wonder Seekers Special Blends are designed for children who love colour, texture, and the freedom to experiment.
 
Sitting between our everyday fizz and our Deluxe Fizz, this range offers blended colours and visual interest without being overly curated or precious. These blends are playful, versatile, and made for open-ended potion play.
 
Children scoop, mix, pour, and add water to activate their potions, watching the fizz bubble and change as colours swirl and blend. There’s no set recipe and no right way to play — just curiosity, imagination, and time to explore.
 
The fizzing is gentle but engaging, creating coloured water that can continue to be used long after the initial reaction has finished. Special Blends work beautifully in mud kitchens, outdoor trays, or inside on a rainy day, either on their own or paired with loose parts and tools.

How to use
Scoop a small amount of Wonder Seekers Special Blends into a bowl, tray, or mud kitchen container
Slowly add water using a jug, pipette, or spray bottle
Watch the fizz activate and colours blend
Less water = more fizz
 
Making it last
To extend the life of your fizz, scoop a small amount into a separate bowl for each play session and keep the main tub sealed between uses. A little goes a long way.
 
Wonder Seekers Special Blends use the same gentle, open-ended fizz as our regular range, with the difference being in the colour combinations. These blends feature mixed or layered colours, making them feel a little more unique while still keeping play simple and flexible.
 
Special Blend Options
 
Rainbow Bloom
A bright, multi-colour blend designed for playful mixing and imaginative potion play. Colours swirl and change as water is added, making it a favourite for creative, colour-loving children.
 
Cocoa Crumble
A rich, earthy blend inspired by mud kitchens and nature play. Ideal for children who enjoy scooping, pouring, and creating “muddy” potions for outdoor or small-world play.
 
Custom Blend
Choose your own colour combination and create a personalised fizz blend, made to order.
(Please note: Custom Blend contains fizz only and does not include dried flowers or decorative elements. These can be purchased separately.)
 
Ingredients
Bicarbonate soda, citric acid, cornflour, non-toxic mica powder and/or natural food-grade vegetable powders.
 
Safety & Age Recommendation
Suitable for children 3 years and over
Adult supervision is always recommended
While citric acid is a natural ingredient, it should not be ingested
Avoid use on broken skin or if your child has active eczema, as citric acid may cause mild stinging
Wash hands after play, or during play if any stinging occurs
 
Storage
Fizz has a storage life of approximately 6–12 months when stored correctly in a cool, dark place, sealed tightly and kept free from moisture.
